DESCRIPTION

“Rita Sarrabica” is a mother-daughter project, something like a book club and reading challenge for her kid, to be posted regularly on Instagram. It will also serve as a book selection and recommendation account for young kids and teenagers.
For this project, I was inspired by things that kids do and that are good for them, such as playing outside, reading, creating, and making friends. With that in mind, I created a series of illustrations for Instagram posts.

The first ideas were presented in a digital/hand-drawn style. However, the client preferred a hand-drawn and hand-painted analogue style. The images below represent the final illustrations according to the client’s selection of style and themes.
